The Spring Break Initiative strives to provide students an opportunity to go beyond Tuscaloosa and travel to a different community to work with children and clinics that need support. This is a great opportunity to gain some clinical experience as well as learn more about a different part of the world.

During Spring Break, AED offers the opportunity to attend a volunteer trip in the United States that allows students a chance to get hands-on experience with different communities. Attendees will work in underserved communities with various clinics or elementary schools to aid in medical or non-medical related needs. In the evenings, the students will be given time to relax and spend time with their fellow attendees. This trip offers an opportunity to broaden experiences and help underprivileged communities in any area they might be lacking. If you are interested in serving these communities and learning more about the medical process, we strongly encourage you to take part in this eye-opening experience. More information about the details of this trip will be announced in AED meetings throughout the year.

If you are interested in signing up for the Spring break trip, please fill out this google form with your information and you will be contacted with more details.
